Description

We are seeking a talented and versatile Fullstack Engineer to join our team in developing and maintaining a critical internal application. This application manages inventory within a complex operational environment. You will be responsible for enhancing the existing system (Spring Boot backend, and knowledge in NextJS frontend is a plus) and developing a new, centralized component for comprehensive reporting across multiple locations. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can thrive in a small team environment, handle ambiguity, and deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain both frontend (NextJS) and backend (Spring Boot) components of our inventory management application.
Build a new module to aggregate data from multiple locations for centralized reporting and analysis.
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the frontend and backend.
Interact with and optimize Microsoft SQL Server databases.
Deploy and maintain applications on OpenShift.
Identify and resolve technical challenges, including those arising from incomplete specifications.
Work closely with a small team to deliver high-quality software.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Develop and execute unit and integration tests.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Fullstack Engineer.
Strong proficiency in NextJS (React framework).
Strong proficiency in Spring Boot (Java framework).
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience with containerization and deployment on OpenShift or similar platforms.
Ability to work effectively in a small, agile team.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to find creative solutions.
Ability to work with incomplete or evolving specifications.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with version control systems
