At Schaeffler Powertrain and Chassis we are increasing our team with an additional Software Industrialization Pilot (SWIP) in the SW Controls team.
You will be responsible for the introduction of already developed software projects into production.
You will manage all industrialization activities starting from the creation of the industrialization concept and ending with the execution of serial life updates.
You will closely work with the Software Technical Project Manager and the Hardware Test Designer, and you will also collaborate with engineers from various teams with a very diverse background: Basic Software / Warranty Return / Tools / System / Hardware.
Job Responsibilities
Define the industrialization concept, covering all related areas: Online Trust Center, Mapping, Logistic data, Reprogramming, Warranty Return Concept, Industrialization types and Hardware sample phases;
Oversee the development of the reprogramming package;
Support the realization of RAM loaders;
Develop the configuration of the Software Industrialization tool that converts development software to the format used in Plant and validate results;
Introduce software releases and datasets into production;
Coordinate the development of the Diagnostic After Sale tool;
Perform initial analysis on returned parts.
Key Qualifications
University degree in a relevant field (Automation and Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunication, Informatics, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics etc.);
Previous work experience in a relevant field;
The ability to pay attention to details, no matter how small;
Extreme adherence to quality in order to create error-free SW deliverables to be used in production plant;
Good analysis and communication skills;
Good English language skills.
