About the project

The employee will assist the compliance team in ensuring that the company adheres to relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements. The role will report to Compliance Manager and closely cooperate with the other Compliance team members, MLRO as well as Legal team on all Responsible Gambling and AML- related matters.

 

 

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Analysing AML and RG -related alerts,
  • Performing KYC checks, verifying documents and AML screening results,
  • Performing account reviews and player risk assessments,
  • Conducting financial vulnerability checks and risk assessment checks,
  • Conducting interactions with customers via emails, chats, and phone calls (including care calls and positive return calls)
  • Assisting in implementing a comprehensive and risk-based approach and analysis of ML/TF/PF risk
  • Escalating any findings and or issues via the ticketing system
  • Handling internal escalations and offering proactive advice to other departments
  • Assisting with handling complaints, including record keeping of complaints and disputes
  • Assisting the Compliance Manager in developing and maintaining procedures in accordance with compliance processes and any ad hoc tasks (such as regulatory reports and audits)
  • Keeping abreast of new legislation and regulatory updates in relevant areas

 

Your expertise to meet the requirement:

  • Knowledge of UK affordability matters, Player safety requirements as well as Anti-Money Laundering/ Terrorist Financing/ Proliferation Financing risks
  • Analytical skills and good time management,
  • Good work ethics, reliable and hardworking, able to work unsupervised,
  • Very good command of English and communication skills- crucial clear and concise verbal and written communication with ability to explain complex requirements in a clear and concise way, create training materials and provide trainings to customer service team as well as conduct phone interactions with UK-based customers.
  • Flexibility to work on weekends.
  • Previous experience within a similar role in the iGaming industry.
  • Knowledge of tools such as Shortcut, Click-up, and Sumsub will be considered as an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and data analysis; PowerPoint will be considered as an advantage.
  • Must be flexible to work in different shift schedules (day & evening & night) and on weekends
