Digital Marketing Analyst - Remote

About Thriveworks
Thriveworks is one of the leading mental healthcare companies in the USA, with over 2,800 employees, and was founded by and is still led by clinicians. Having just launched a new vision to be America’s most valued mental healthcare company, where our teams can fulfill their purpose and do their best work, where clients are treated with warmth and respect, and where communities benefit from access to high-quality care to heal and thrive in life, this company is ready for a new chapter.

About the Role
We're looking for a data-curious, detail-oriented Digital Marketing Specialist to support both our Organic Search (SEO) and Paid Marketing strategies. This cross-functional role is designed to expand our visibility across search and social, with a primary emphasis on SEO and local search.

You'll work closely with our SEO and paid media leads to execute, measure, and optimize campaigns that drive real business outcomes. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to grow as a search and media marketer, building a strong foundation in two of our most impactful acquisition channels.

You’ll help elevate our SEO, content, and page experience — owning your projects from idea through execution, analyzing performance and market trends, and using data to guide decisions. In this role, you'll collaborate with teams across Content, Product, Development, and Marketing to bring your strategies to life.
Key Responsibilities
SEO (Primary Focus)

  • Analyze site and technical performance using SEO tools and analytics platforms; translate findings into clear reports for stakeholders; submit recommendations/tasks to content/product/tech teams
  • Conduct ad hoc deep dives to investigate trends, identify opportunities, and drive actionable insights.
  • Perform keyword research to uncover content gaps and guide on-page optimizations.
  • Create data-driven research briefs with SEO recommendations and collaborate with content and marketing stakeholders to bring them to life.
  • Execute competitive analysis across content, backlinks, and keyword rankings; translate findings into roadmap projects.
  • Partner with content and product/tech teams to develop high-value, share-worthy assets that support SEO and brand goals.
  • Provide cross-team support in other high-priority areas such as location data accuracy, reputation management, and business listings.

SEM/Paid Media

  • Support search/social campaign execution by helping build, update, and QA
  • Analyze campaign performance and assist in identifying optimization opportunities based on key metrics (e.g., CPC, ROAS).
  • Collaborate with the team on A/B testing initiatives and help execute landing page optimization
  • Help bridge SEO and SEM efforts by identifying keyword overlap opportunities, aligning messaging, and sharing insights across both channels.
  • Maintain campaign hygiene, tagging, and tracking to ensure high-quality execution.

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in digital marketing, with direct exposure to SEO and/or Local SEO strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of core SEO principles, including content optimization, technical SEO, and keyword strategy.
  • Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, with confidence writing formulas and manipulating data sets.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Google Ads.
  • Who are you:
  • Analytical thinker who enjoys digging into data, spotting trends, and translating insights into action.
  • Clear communicator who collaborates effectively across teams and disciplines.
  • Organized and adaptable — able to manage multiple projects and shift gears quickly when priorities change.
  • Self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and take initiative.
  • Comfortable working both independently and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable under pressure and able to meet deadlines without sacrificing attention to detail.

Benefits

  • An amazing team culture
  • Healthcare, Dental, Vision, and life insurance benefits
  • 401K with 3% employer match
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Additional coverage options are available, such as Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Group Accident Insurance
  • Professional development & advancement opportunities
