Job description

Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on HW System Engineer to join our team in a leading defence company.

The role involves end-to-end system planning (design, Assembly, testing and delivery), integration of multidisciplinary subsystems, and close collaboration with contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.




Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in end-to-end system design and integration
  • Technical work with electrical and computing systems (resources, components, power)
  • Build and manage BOM (Bill of Materials)
  • Develop and interpret system schematics and documentation using Visio
  • Manage and inspect cabling, high-voltage systems, PDUs, UPS units
  • Work with and supervise contractors and vendors
  • Involvement in hardware selection and component sourcing.
  • Strong ability to write specifications, requirements documents, ATPs, test documentation, and failure analysis reports (in English)
  • Conduct and support ATP testing, compliance with MIL-STD
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge in Networks - Advantage
  • Support installations and testing both locally and abroad

Requirements

  • B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Computer Engineering / Systems Engineering or equivalent
  • At least 3–5 years of hands-on technical experience in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Knowledge in computing resources, power systems, and electronics
  • Practical experience with high-voltage systems, UPS, and PDU
  • Proficiency in Visio, documentation tools, and cable design
  • Knowledge of MIL-STD and ATP test documentation – advantage
  • Excellent English skills (speaking, reading, writing) – mandatory
  • Must be eligible for security clearance
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required
  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills
  •  Possession of a valid Level 3 Security Clearance is beneficial
