What You’ll Be Doing:
Role Overview: The Business Development Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Evolent Health’s growth strategy. This individual will be part of a high-performing growth team. Responsible for analyzing market trends, identifying new & current business opportunities, and assisting in the development of strategic initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Directing the new logo sales journey to support pipeline progression
Define and help manage client touchpoints along the sales journey
Develop and evaluate new business opportunities, ideas, and potential new customers
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities.
Help create streamlined external communication of our solutions to improve client understanding of capabilities and our unique value proposition
Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact business development efforts.
Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to drive business initiatives.
Supporting the development and execution of the company’s overall growth strategy
Conduct strategic analyses to prioritize attractive organic and inorganic revenue opportunities
Driving research, development, and support the launch of new product or partnership opportunities
Preferred Experience We Look For:
Bachelor’s Degree
2+ years of business development or consulting experience in the healthcare industry - preferably in a health plan or health system environment
Growth strategy experience, e.g., assessing new business lines, entrepreneurial experience
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and creativity
Analytic rigor
Resourcefulness--ability to procure detailed data and information
Proven time-management skills and attention to detail
Thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment with a collaborative and innovation-driven culture
Outstanding written and oral presentation skills, ability to engage in back-and-forth conversation with senior leaders, and ability to develop strong relationships
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $75,000-80,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees.
