Senior Full-Stack Architect - NAM

​Senior Full Stack Architect Position Details:
We are looking for a self-motivated Full-Stack Architect with a passion for building cloud-based solutions that are scalable, secure, and high-performing. As a Full-Stack Architect, you will be responsible for designing and architecting our end-to-end technology stack, ensuring that we can innovate quickly while delivering exceptional products. You will work closely with our development team to build solutions that not only meet the needs of today but are designed to evolve with our business. This position reports to the CIO.

MEVCO – We deliver long-term solutions, not just light vehicles for the world’s largest mining companies. MEVCO offers customized electric fleets for the mining industry, along with data-powered insights through MEVCOnnect, charging solutions, and ongoing service and support.

Examples of MEVCO Solutions:

MEVCOnnect – We collect and analyze vehicle, operational, safety, charging, efficiency, and driver data. MEVCOnnect provides real-time insights into preventative maintenance and the performance of a mining electric vehicle fleet.

Comprehensive EV Training & Change Management – We implement mining fleet transitions to reduce cost while improving working conditions, health, safety and comfort of mine workers by reducing diesel particulate exposure, noise, vibration, and fatigue levels.

Electrical and Infrastructure Planning – We advise our clients on establishing effective charging stations, both fixed and portable solutions while assessing the infrastructure required to get power to those locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and design full-stack, cloud-native applications that are scalable, secure, and redundant.
  
• Lead the development and integration of front-end and back-end services, ensuring seamless user experience and performance optimization.
  
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop architectures that balance speed, scalability, and security.
  
• Implement best practices in cloud architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps to support fast-paced development cycles.
  
• Ensure systems meet business requirements and industry standards for security, performance, and redundancy.
  
• Collaborate with product managers and leadership to align technical architecture with business goals and customer needs.
  
• Mentor and guide developers, fostering a culture of innovation and unconventional thinking.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Full-Stack Architect in a startup or high-growth environment.
  
• Expertise in architecting cloud-based solutions (AWS, Azure, or GCP) at scale.
  
• Strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, including JavaScript, Node.js, React, or similar frameworks.
  
• Familiarity with microservices, containerization, and serverless architectures.
  
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practices.
  
• A strong focus on security, scalability, and redundancy in cloud-based systems.
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
