As a Manual QA Engineer at Percepto, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality assurance efforts across our end-to-end system, which includes hardware, embedded software, and cloud infrastructure. This role requires a combination of technical expertise and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and execute manual tests to validate the reliability , performance, and functionality of the drone system and web applications.
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for all test cases, test results, and defect logs.
  • Work closely with product, development, and operations teams to clarify requirements, understand use cases, and define test criteria.
  • Identify, document, and report defects, tracking them through to resolution.
  • Conduct testing on actual drone systems in real-world environments, ensuring that the product performs reliably in diverse conditions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in QA for complex systems, with a strong understanding of hardware, embedded software, and cloud services.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in testing end-to-end systems involving hardware, embedded software, and cloud applications.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge in Linux/ Unix environment.
  • Familiarity with drone technologies, robotics, or autonomous systems - Advantage
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test automation. CI/CD processes - Advantage.
