Our client is a leader in shipping & logistics specializing in container freight and supply chain solutions. Based in Culver City, CA, they provide innovative and efficient freight forwarding services to global clients. As they continue to scale their data infrastructure, they are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with expertise in Python, SQL, and Snowflake to join their team. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at their company, you will play a pivotal role in collaborating with product managers, designers, data scientists and other software engineers to build their customer-facing platform. You’ll work across the stack, leveraging Python on the backend, JavaScript/React on the frontend, and AWS infrastructure to build reliable, scalable, and intuitive tools that will directly impact how their customers manage complex logistics workflows. Required Skills & Experience

  • 5+ years of full stack development experience
  • Strong Python experience with modern web frameworks (e.g., Django, Flask, or FastAPI)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript and React with a solid understanding of frontend architecture
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and building cloud-native applications
  • Strong understanding of pulling data from APIs, web-scraping, EDI Files
  • Participate in code reviews, mentor junior engineers, and help establish best practices in testing, CI/CD, and software architecture

Daily Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end features across the frontend and backend of our platform
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, data scientists, and other engineers to build user-centric solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code in Python (Django/FlaskAPI/Flask) and JavaScript/React
  • Design and build RESTful APIs and microservices to power customer-facing features
  • Implement and optimize UI components that are performant and responsive across devices
  • Leverage AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, etc.) to ensure a secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure
