The Opportunity
Sephora is looking for an Associate to support in the the development and execution of Sephora social content for Sephora’s owned and partner channels. Reporting to the Manager, Social Media, you will ensure our social programs deliver on the overarching social media strategy.
Responsibilities
- Manage the planning, development and execution of social content for Sephora campaigns and evergreen content for Sephora’s social channels including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Assist in managing Sephora and Sephora Collection social priorities working with various cross functional teams including Brand Marketing, Category Marketing & Merchandising, etc., thinking through strategy and platform execution
- Community manage Sephora and Sephora Collection social content
- Optimize captions, text overlays and community responses with entertaining and on-brand editorial
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business priorities and build strategic, impactful social content plans as THE key Social team contact across Sephora Collection teams
- Analyze and report out performance of Sephora Collection social content and recommend optimizations to continue to evolve social content and build meaningful engagement with our community
- Leverage Sephora insights to elevate Sephora Collection social content to “iconic” levels
- Partner with global Sephora Collection teams on launches and initiatives
Requirements
- 1+ years of social media experience. Experience in consumer lifestyle, retail or beauty experience is a plus
- Proficient in relevant social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and emerging platforms including Reddit, Substack, etc.
- A creative disposition with strong writing aptitude
- Previous professional experience enhancing captions, text overlays, and community interactions with engaging and brand-consistent editorial content
- Experience working brand/client or agency side in a highly cross-functional organization with a high degree of collaboration and process-driven environment
- Excitement for learning, openness to new experiences and challenges in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to quickly adapt to ever-changing social landscape and scopes of work
- Must have a voracious appetite and passion for social media
The annual base salary range for this position is $75,000.00 - $84,500.00 The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible to earn bonuses.
