Why Patients Need You
Since PAXLOVID’s emergency use authorization on 12/22/21, PAXLOVID has helped treat over 20M patients at high-risk from progression to severe COVID-19, which can lead to hospitalization and/or death. Now that PAXLOVID is FDA approved and commercialized in the U.S., this novel protease inhibitor is positioned to remain the gold standard in COVID-19 treatment. Significant opportunity to increase treatment rates for eligible patients and bolster PAXLOVID’s leadership position in the marketplace continues, as new clinical data, RWE, and label indications are anticipated throughout 2024 and 2025.
What You Will Achieve
There continues to be a need and demand for peer-to-peer education in the COVID treatment marketplace. Multiple specialties may prescribe PAXLOVID and are seeking education about the product and the COVID treatment landscape from trusted and experienced voices. The Peer to Peer Secondee will report directly to the Customer Facing and Channel Strategy Lead and work collaboratively across the PAXLOVID HCP team. This role will evolve and execute a robust customer engagement strategy, focused primarily on Speaker Programs. There will also be an opportunity to lead other peer-to-peer and customer facing marketing tactics.
How You Will Achieve It
Speaker Program Management:
Set strategy for speaker programs, including program design, speaker engagement, and content strategy.
Maintain existing speaker bureau and appropriately evolve as needed (i.e. speaker communications, speaker recommendations, training, and more)
Partner with agency, Compliance, MEET colleagues, MLR, CFCs, and Sales Leadership to align on content, ways of working, and other critical operational needs.
Lead and partner with Field leadership, PAXLOVID champions, and Field Ad Boards to ensure materials, comms, and approach will enhance the overall speaker bureau experience.
Aggregate and compliantly track impact of peer-to-peer initiatives, integrating tracking into other reporting.
Partner closely with the Professional Relations and Congress Leads on the PAXLOVID
HCP marketing team to enhance Opinion Leader strategy and marketing tactics
Collaborate on conference strategy and planning for all US national and local congresses, including developing a plan for commercial symposia at conventions that includes clear commercial objectives tailored to HCP segments and audiences
Leadership, content, and speakers for commercial speaker programs,
Congress Symposia, and other Peer to Peer initiatives
Opportunity to collaborate on other Peer to Peer tactics, which may include Digital Opinion Leader (DOL) partnerships for social media content or development of content (podcasts, videos) for PfizerPro
Collaborate with the Customer-Facing and Channel marketers on the PAXLOVID HCP team to deliver impactful content to four core Field Forces supporting PAXLOVID
Closely engage with Field Ad Boards to gather input on PAXLOVID marketing tactics and plan for 2025, integrate into agency scopes as needed.
Create and maximize field marketing resources specific to Urgent Care opportunity, partnering across HCP team and Inizio CSO sales team
Support other field forces with marketing strategies, training, and resources, as needed
Maintain a continual commitment to compliance, collaborating with Legal, Compliance,
Review Committee, and Digital Review Team to appropriately execute programs.
Manage Peer to Peer budget consistent with overall HCP and brand budget goals; to include agency management, HCP honoraria, and Peer to Peer program costs.

Must-Have
Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with at least 3 years of experience; OR a master's degree with more than 1 year of experience; OR an associate's degree with 6 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
Experience successfully converting market and stakeholder insights into actionable strategies and tactics.
Experience successfully engaging and partnering with external customers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including to internal and external senior leaders.
Strong strategic skills including creativity and effectiveness in identifying and managing major strategic challenges; can manage through ambiguity.
Ability and eagerness to challenge status quo, act decisively and operate successfully in an empowered organization.
A commitment to excellence – both in the results achieved and in how they are achieved.
