• We’re looking for a researcher who thrives on seeing their work ship quickly and make a real impact. At Limitless, you won’t be publishing papers into the void: you’ll be applying cutting-edge research to gnarly, real-world problems across audio, speech, and AI. From solving robust speaker diarization to building AI systems that reason across what someone has seen, heard, and said, we need your help to push the boundaries of what’s possible, fast. What will be your responsibilities 📓

• Applied Research & Development: Design and implement novel solutions that power core experiences in the Limitless ecosystem, particularly in audio processing, transcription, summarization, and context-aware reasoning.

• Product-Focused Experimentation: Own end-to-end ML experiments, from prototype to product, and ship research that moves the needle on tangible product outcomes.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate user needs into deeply useful AI-powered features.

• Measurement & Iteration: Define success metrics for your models, run experiments, and iterate fast based on user and system feedback.

What will help you be successful 👏

• Hands-on Experience: Proven ability to work with both foundation models (e.g. Whisper, GPT, BERT) and traditional ML, with a track record of shipping features powered by your work.

• Audio & Language Domain Expertise: Familiarity with the quirks of real-world audio, ASR, diarization, or related fields will help you ramp quickly and spot real-world edge cases.

• Strong Product Instincts: You understand when “good enough” really is, and when a product or user need demands deeper research or better performance.

• Startup Mindset: You’re energized by ownership, speed, ambiguity, and impact; not by long roadmaps and red tape.

• Systems-Level Thinking: You know how to trace a problem from raw data to model behavior to user impact, and back again.

$200,000 - $400,000 a year

The above compensation range includes salary + equity. The final package may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on eligibility, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, paid parental leave, PTO, and other employee benefits.
