About the Team:

The Supply Chain team owns the whole raw materials, packaging & all kinds of items (office/cleaning & kitchen) supply and its distribution to the chefs/fulfillment. It’s a high-impact role with the ability to communicate constantly between all different areas of CookUnity. Our customers use our digital experience weekly to find their favorite meals from our 300+ menu items, and the Supply Chain team is responsible for making that easy and smooth for the operation.

The role:

We are seeking a full-time Supplier and Procurement Analyst with an entrepreneurial mindset who is willing to take ownership of different analyses and projects and is looking to accelerate their development by working in a super fast-growing startup!

You will be part of the Supply Chain team, you must be capable of researching, selecting, and onboarding new suppliers, increasing their portfolio depth with the company, analyzing, process, and keeping track of incumbent suppliers, and be capable of communicating with the different teams. You’re organized, super self-driven, can deliver, and have a “get stuff done” attitude.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and compare products and services from suppliers in order to suggest what will be most compatible with the company
  • Evaluate vendors and suppliers based on quality, price, and service levels.
  • Communicate frequently with vendors to learn about their products, services, and prices.
  • Analyze and suggest contract terms after offering bids to desired vendors.
  • Finding supply needs and researching potential suppliers.
  • Onboard new suppliers
  • Prepare cost-benefit analysis reports for management to review.
  • Generate monthly supply cost reports
  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure a streamlined process.
  • Assisting in developing a strategic sourcing plan for the company that aligns with corporate objectives
  • Educating vendors about company guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the procurement process

Minimum Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of previous experience in a Accounts Payable / Supply Chain / Commercial related role
  • Since our HQ are located in NYC, an advanced level of English is required
  • Bachelor’s degree or about to graduate n Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or other related.
  • Good analytical skills and excellent user of Google Sheets/Excel
  • Strong problem solving & multi-tasking skills with great attention to detail and aptitude for numbers
  • Food knowledge is desirable
