This is a remote position.

Role Name: Social Media & Operations Specialist

Schedule:

  • 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday, 9am to 6pm Philadelphia, PA time with 1 hour of unpaid break

Job Description

In this exciting role, you’ll be at the intersection of digital communications and relationship management, crafting compelling content that engages a network of accomplished alumni worldwide. Working directly with the Executive Director, you’ll shape the organization’s digital presence while supporting crucial fundraising and engagement initiatives. This position offers unique exposure to high-impact projects and the opportunity to grow with an organization that’s scaling its operations. You’ll have the chance to tell the stories of remarkable achievements while helping build stronger connections within our prestigious alumni community.

Responsibilities
  • Create engaging social media content that resonates with accomplished professionals across various industries
  • Develop and execute strategic content plans for alumni communications across multiple platforms
  • Craft compelling narratives for email campaigns, newsletters, and special publications
  • Design eye-catching graphics and visual content that maintains brand consistency
  • Support high-profile events through creative content and sponsor communications
  • Manage donor and alumni relationships through various communication channels
  • Process and respond to alumni inquiries with professional courtesy
  • Assist with fundraising initiatives through targeted communication strategies
  • Maintain and organize crucial donor and alumni data in CRM systems
Requirements
  • Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to detail
  • Demonstrated experience in social media management and content creation
  • Proficiency in graphic design and visual content creation
  • Experience with CRM systems and data management
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Professional communication style suitable for executive-level correspondence
  • Experience in donor relations or customer relationship management preferred
  • Proficiency with Windows OS and Google Workspace
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistent brand voice
