The Department
The Programme Delivery Team is an integral part of Autovista Group, driving the delivery of strategic projects and initiatives that are crucial to the company's success. This dynamic team has a wealth of project management and business change experience and leverages industry standards and best practices to ensure the successful delivery of change. By maintaining and following the Project Delivery Framework, the team also have a clear process for prioritizing, initiating, delivering, and closing projects.
The team is not only central to the company's strategy but also highly collaborative, working closely with various functions within Autovista. The Role
As a project manager you will have the opportunity to manage strategic projects which are highly visible and key to the company achieving its objectives. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of assigned projects throughout the full life cycle, which includes establishing scope, planning and monitoring progress against agreed cost, quality and time constraints. This extends to planning and managing project resources, risks and issues.
Active management and review of project financial information will also be an essential part of the role. You will establish strong working relationships with project stakeholders from various functions across the business to ensure that the required project outcomes can be achieved.
The Candidate
You should have at least 3 years of experience in delivering cross-functional projects that involve collaboration among multiple teams across various countries and/or regions, with a budget exceeding €250k. A degree or equivalent qualification in project management, business, or a related technical field is essential.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills are crucial, enabling you to work collaboratively in a cross-country, multi-cultural environment with both technical and commercial stakeholders. You will need to be self-managing, self-motivating, and flexible, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Your passion and persistence will be key to delivering projects according to the brief.
Excellent planning and organisational skills, coupled with high attention to detail, are imperative. An analytic, critical thinking approach and good problem-solving skills will be heavily relied upon. Additionally, experience in developing and managing project budgets and resource allocation procedures will be highly valuable.
Knowledge of project management methodologies, with recognised certification (e.g. PMP or Prince 2), and expertise in one or more project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Jira) is desirable.
