Key responsibilities:

  • Define and implement commercial goals and selling strategies for the business unit.
  • Generate and follow up on leads, offers, and negotiations with clients.
  • Prepare and negotiate Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and conduct client visits.
  • Create and maintain strategic relationships with stakeholders and conduct market prospection for new clients.

In this case, we are looking for an experienced Business Developer to join our team in the Business Unit of PPA/Distributed Generation


We have an office in Frankfurt, but the position can be based anywhere in Germany.


Main responsibilities

  • Definition and implementation of commercial goals and selling strategies
  • Generation and follow up leads, offers and negotiations with clients.
  • Clients visits
  • Prepare commercial and financial simulations
  • Prepare and negotiate PPA contracts
  • Create and maintain strategic relationships with the different involved stakeholders
  • Market prospection for new clients


Required Qualifications

  • Electrical Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge of the photovoltaic sector and current legal regulations regarding self-consumption
  • Advanced Financial Knowledge
  • Native level of German and high level of English is required
  • 5+ years of experience selling self-consumption projects for the Industrial sector
  • Experience preparing, negotiating and closing PPA contracts.
  • Availability to travel
