Job description

Description

The Product Solution team at K2View is seeking an experienced Java developer with proven expertise in Workday integration to join our Product Library team. In this role, you will work closely with our proprietary platform, designing and building integration libraries that extend the product’s capabilities for enterprise clients. You will be expected to bring deep knowledge of Workday’s integration processes, constraints, and APIs, and provide expert consultation to both internal and external teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java-based and proprietary-language libraries to extend product functionality.
  • Lead Workday-specific integration efforts, including API consumption, data extraction, and update operations.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Workday integration processes, security models, and data structures.
  • Collaborate with product, delivery, and customer teams to gather requirements and deliver end-to-end integration solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration and performance issues across development and production environments.
  • Participate in architecture and design discussions, especially regarding Workday integration patterns.

Requirements

Technical Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field – Mandatory
  • 5+ years of software implementation experience – Mandatory
  • 3+ years of hands-on Java development – Mandatory
  • 3+ years of experience with database technologies (SQL) – Mandatory
  • 2+ years of experience in Linux environments – Mandatory
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience integrating with Workday using SOAP/REST APIs, WSDLs, or EIBs – Mandatory
  • Solid understanding of Workday’s security, data structures, and integration constraints – Mandatory
  • 1+ years of experience with NoSQL databases – Advantage
  • 2+ years of JavaScript development – Advantage
  • Experience with distributed database architecture – Advantage
