About the Role

As an Accounting Intern, you'll work within our Finance team to support the month-end close and various process improvement projects. This internship is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting at a high-growth SaaS company.


Requirements

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in month-end close activities, such as billing, journal entry preparation, and reconciliations
  • Monitor A/R aging and establish processes to improve cash collections
  • Identify and investigate data discrepancies between systems to ensure that financial information is complete and accurate
  • Perform ad-hoc customer level financial analyses to resolve queries from Sales and Support teams
  • Assist in accounting projects like financial statement audits and income tax filing preparation

Who You Are

  • Undergraduate or graduate student pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and/or ERP systems (i.e., NetSuite)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Eager to learn, take initiative, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • A penchant for ingenuity and efficiency –you're eager to research and uncover efficiencies in repetitive tasks and help us pilot new, automated solutions
  • Preferred: Previous work experience in an accounting role

Compensation & Details

  • Hourly rate: $24–$32/hour, depending on experience and education level
  • Duration: 12 weeks, full-time
  • Hybrid work schedule with in-office time in our New York City location
