About the Role: As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of gas supply schemes, including metered sites, COMAH sites, and Fork Lift Truck refuelling systems, from initial concept to final handover. This role covers the entire UK and involves managing 20 to 30 projects simultaneously, ranging from quick-turnaround jobs to complex, multi-year projects with budgets from £50,000 to £500,000. You'll work closely with permitting and regulatory bodies, ensuring every project meets the highest safety and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, and installation.
Develop and implement risk management strategies, including CDM documentation where required.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
Collaborate with customers to provide technical guidance and solutions.
Conduct audits, HSE investigations, and report incidents as required.
Oversee procurement, scheduling, and resource management for assigned projects.
What We're Looking For
Minimum 3 years of industrial gas sector experience, ideally 5+ years as a Project Engineer.
Proficiency in CAD and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Strong communication and customer service skills, essential for this customer-facing role.
Understanding of LPG Codes of Practice and relevant regulations.
Full, clean driving licence.
Strong organisational and time management skills.
