Location: Fano Office (PU), Italy

Contract Duration: 6 Months (extendable)

Working Hours: Full-time, 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Commissioning and Operation Engineer to join our dynamic team in Fano, Italy. This position plays a critical role in the Precommissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, and Handover phases of diverse industrial projects, both domestically and internationally. The selected candidate will collaborate with internal engineering teams, clients, licensors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure the safe and timely delivery of high-quality plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed engineering documentation for project execution phases, including Precommissioning, Commissioning, Start-up, Warranty Checks, and Final Handover.
  • Prepare Commissioning and Operational Test Procedures for complex process and utility systems.
  • Support onsite execution activities and provide technical oversight and coordination with clients and stakeholders.
  • Interface with other engineering disciplines, licensors, suppliers, and subcontractors to align deliverables and project timelines.
  • Assist in client personnel training and ensure smooth transition into operations.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering (minimum 102/110 grade) OR at least 10 years of relevant experience in commissioning/process roles if not degreed.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Process Specialist or Commissioning Engineer preferred.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for data handling and reporting.
  • Ability to manage workloads independently, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to relocate and work on international assignments for extended periods (1–2 years).
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and document accuracy.
  • Ability to remain composed under pressure and to manage unexpected issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities in multicultural environments.
