TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER - Cosmetics Division

Southern UK - Home office based


We are looking for a self-driven team player who is passionate about relationship management and business development. Reporting directly to the Head of Distribution Management Cosmetics in Switzerland, you will spearhead customer sales and business development in the dynamic cosmetics and personal care field by representing a wide range of raw materials and ingredients from global suppliers. This challenging role is home-based within the sales territory in the Southern UK region. You are given the freedom to operate independently, while still relying on the expertise and resources of dedicated teams at our Swiss headquarter to drive exceptional results.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary customer contact for multifunctional ingredients represented by RAHN-Cosmetics, not only maintaining existing customer relationships but also seeking new business opportunities within the cosmetics and personal care industry.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets by organizing and conducting regular visits to our existing customers with technical and commercial support while also driving sales and network expansion.
  • Provide valuable market insights to influence product and business strategies, aligning them with market demands.
  • Optimise the sales process to ensure efficiency and alignment with company goals.
  • Make a significant contribution to business growth and increase brand awareness.
  • Strengthen collaboration between sales, technical support, and product development teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
  • Inspire clients with innovative solutions and lead product development projects from ideation to implementation.


Your Profile:

  • Chemical or biological vocational or professional qualification and extensive experience in personal care/cosmetics raw materials.
  • Passionate about multifunctional materials and active ingredients, with several years of sales experience in a similar role within specialty raw materials companies in the Personal Care/Cosmetics fields.
  • With an established customer network to rely on and further expand.
  • Enjoy visiting customers personally in the appointed sales territory in the Southern UK (more than 50%) and be able to advise them in a competent way on products represented by RAHN-Cosmetics thanks to a winning personality.
  • A person who actively promotes collaboration within the company and with a positive attitude especially when it comes to cross-selling activities, encouraging and driving them forward.
  • Be creative and think out-of-the-box, strong negotiation ability and solutions-oriented approach are also part of your personality.
  • High flexibility and willingness to travel nationally (southern UK) and in part internationally.
  • Must reside in the Greater London or Birmingham Metropolitan Area to facilitate client visits.
