The American Diabetes Association (ADA) is seeking a Manager, Quality Partnerships to join our Quality team. Reporting to the Senior Director, Quality Partnerships, the Manager, Quality Partnerships works collaboratively with multiple stakeholders to help coordinate the execution of several of the Association’s primary care strategies, develop content and monitor results for multi-channel outreach to primary care professionals and organizations. This person relates well with internal Association staff, volunteers and other professionals.
Responsibilities
Implement communication strategies to better engage primary care constituents
Support designated Special Interest Groups and other stakeholder groups to achieve engagement
Develop and support initiatives in the department of Primary Care and Quality
Manage data, monitor metrics, and support presentations and reports to stakeholders
Assist in constituent list acquisition, preparation, and group updates
Coordinate outreach requests to various audiences
Collect and adjust content as needed from stakeholders
Communicate strong calls to action, ideas, and messaging appropriate to various points of contact
Coordinate Primary Care Council initiatives and Primary Care Alliance Network activities
Manage administrative tasks for department
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES
Coordination, communications, and support
Manage planning and communication with stakeholders in primary care
Collaborate with other ADA departments on programs and grants involving primary care
Work with the Senior Director, Quality Partnerships to support departmental initiatives
Provide a point of contact for primary care constituents and professional organizations
Meet with internal stakeholders on regular basis
Primary Care Council
Plan and support the Primary Care Council activities and communications
Support and coordinate the annual meeting
Coordinate slides and plan agendas with other stakeholders
Work with logistics team to coordinate support for the location and arrangements
Interest Groups
Manage designated Interest Group (IG) email inboxes
Develop quarterly e-newsletters content
Assist with networking events at Sci Sessions
Coordinate Interest Group poster awards
Organize IG leadership application process
Quality improvement Activity Support
Assist with support of engaged QI practices
Work with contractors in the coordination of QI meetings and activities
Participate in slide creation and reporting of QI activities
Support communication for organizations and contractors engaged in QI activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or communications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care
Strong time management skills
Experience managing multiple, concurrent projects in a matrix organization
Demonstrated ability to problem-solve and work in a team-based environment
Enjoys working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
Strong oral and written communication and presentation and interpersonal skills to help build and manage team productivity/cohesion
