We are seeking an experienced PHP Developer with a strong background in team-based projects. This role involves agile development, code reviews, and product support within the Paysera ecosystem. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP, open to working with Symfony, PHPUnit, and Docker, and have experience in the fintech domain.

Additionally, we are looking for individuals committed to self-improvement and unafraid to leverage innovative AI tools in their daily work to drive progress.

Candidates will have the opportunity to choose their area of focus - integrations, accounting, or transfers - based on their interests and expertise.

Your key responsibilities:

• Work in a multi-functional, self-organising team based on Agile principles;
• Participate in the planning, design, implementation and support of Paysera products;
• Follow and contribute to development best-practices, give and receive code reviews on a daily basis;
• Constantly improve as a developer and a team member, and share knowledge with other team members;
• Expect to perform routine daily tasks using ChatGPT or a similar tool to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  
  

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of experience working in a team of developers on complex, sophisticated projects;
• 5+ years of work experience as a developer;
• Strong understanding of modern PHP, design patterns, and readiness to work with other languages such as JavaScript, NodeJS, and potentially GoLang;
• Experience working with Symfony framework, PHPUnit, Docker (would be an additional advantage as those are some of the technologies that we use daily);
• Fluency in English;
• Proven familiarity and experience with AI tools like ChatGPT and other technologies, demonstrating a capability to seamlessly integrate these into daily tasks.
