Paysera

Paysera is the first fintech company in Lithuania and an EU-licensed e-money institution. We provide fast, convenient, and affordable financial services globally. Our services range from a payment gateway for e-shops, a finance management app, and money transfers worldwide.

With over 1 million app installs and growing, we aim to become an industry-leading super app that provides financial and lifestyle services across the globe. At Paysera, we are a start-up-minded team, which means we thrive in a fast-paced environment and seek open communication while placing great focus on establishing our core company values. Join our vibrant international team of +700 people across +20 different cities worldwide.

Paysera seeks a talented UI/UX designer to join our Front-End team. This new role is dedicated to maintaining a cohesive and practical design approach across all Paysera front-end systems. This new role aims to establish a robust design system, ensuring the development of intuitive and visually appealing interfaces for our users.

Work Area:

The UI/UX Designer will be pivotal in the Front-End team, working closely with other team members to create a distinct Paysera design system. This role involves crafting a comprehensive suite of mockups, flows, and prototypes to facilitate the seamless integration of new features into Paysera products.

Responsibilities:

  • Design software product functionalities ensuring outstanding user experience, participating in daily Front-End team activities and collaborating extensively with the Engineering Team.
  • Work alongside business analysts, software engineers, and stakeholders to convert concepts into innovative wireframes and detailed designs, from concept to engineering hand-off.
  • Create and iteratively improve the UI for new and existing web-based applications, championing a single source of truth via up-to-date Figma mockups.
  • Defend design choices and critical deliverables to peers and stakeholders, fostering a culture of excellence and coherence in design standards.
  • Develop and maintain the product design system, including library components, to facilitate a seamless alignment between design and engineering outputs.
  • Conduct user research and incorporate feedback to refine and improve design solutions continuously.

Challenges:

  • Update and maintain design documentation, reducing reliance on hardcoded and non-responsive design elements.
  • Standardize design components and principles across Paysera systems, ensuring brand consistency and reducing customized solutions.
  • To improve engineering and QA processes, address and solve front-end related production bugs efficiently, without existing references or requirements.

Technical Skills:

  • At least three years of commercial experience in UX/UI design, with a comprehensive understanding of best practices, including research, wireframing, prototyping, responsive design, and visual design fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in Figma, showcasing expertise in components, variants, variables, and auto layout.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating problem-solving through design, with examples of web and mobile projects.
  • Genuine interest in exploring and leveraging AI-powered tools in the design process (e.g., for ideation, user research, accessibility, or workflow automation).

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to effectively present and defend design decisions to stakeholders.
  • Experience managing L-XL design projects with an emphasis on detail and deadlines.

Join Paysera Front-End and shape the future of Paysera’s user experience.

This role represents a unique opportunity to profoundly impact our front-end ecosystem, driving design innovation and excellence. We encourage you to apply if you are passionate about creating user-centred designs and eager to take on new challenges in a dynamic environment.
