We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to serve our growing Midwest Territory! Sales Representatives who work at Patrick Industries work to build relationships with existing and new Customers in an effort to drive Sales for the Industrial Pillar! In this position, you will receive one-on-one training and coaching from an industry expert and be in a position that offers rapid growth opportunities.


Responsibilities

  • In this position, the Sales Representative works closely with support of the Manufacturing Team, Suppliers and Inside Sales to introduce products to new customers, and foster relationships with current ones (50/50)
  • Working closely with current Customers to manage and maintaining existing accounts that help grow sales
  • Build long-term, dynamic relationships with new Customers and introduce them to new product and service solutions
  • Meet and exceed planned sales and margin targets through cooperation with Sales Manager, Inside Sales Support, Manufacturing team and Supplier Sales Representatives
  • Track Customer orders and communicating any updates or potential issues
  • Work with the Business Units to understand, troubleshoot and fix any issues that may arise in quality, delivery, etc.


Qualifications And Skills

  • Candidates with experience in building materials including cabinet, commercial casework markets, construction project management, direct sales to OEM accounts are highly desired
  • Three or more years’ experience working in Outsides Sales/Project Management is preferred
  • Established industry relationships preferred
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 75% required; Territory will include a primary focus on Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, Southern Indiana, Southern Ohio
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communications and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout all levels of the organization with the ability to build genuine relationships
  • Driven and creative self-starter with passion to go above and beyond expectations
  • Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills, with an affinity towards servicing Customers and providing solutions
  • A high level of personal values (Courage, Empathy, Hunger, Perseverance, Honesty) are necessary qualities
  • Self-motivated to work independently with changing priorities and the ability to adapt quickly
  • Must be well organized and have solid project management skills
  • Ability to delegate sales support related projects/tasks and the ability to follow through
  • Assure proper processing of customer orders, product costing, pricing and quote generation in conjunction with Customer Service for the Business Unit
