What You’ll Be Doing

The Director of Product Management and Marketing will lead the strategic vision, development, and execution of the CPI Hardware product portfolio, roadmap and marketing efforts, for our largest revenue generating arm of the business. This role requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of product management, market dynamics, and customer needs to drive growth and innovation in the hardware space.

More Specific Expectations Of The Role Include

  • Product Strategy and Development:
    • Develop and execute a robust product roadmap aligned with business objectives.
    • Lead cross-functional teams to drive product lifecycle management, from ideation to launch.
    • Identify market trends and customer insights to inform product innovation and differentiation.
  • Marketing Strategy and Execution:
    • Create and implement integrated marketing strategies to position CPI Hardware products effectively in target markets.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to develop compelling value propositions and go-to-market strategies.
    • Oversee branding initiatives to ensure consistency and alignment with company values.
  • Leadership and Team Development:
    • Mentor and develop a high-performing product management and marketing team.
    • Foster collaboration across departments to achieve strategic goals.
    • Act as the face of CPI Hardware for customer and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications And Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of B2B commercial experience, with at least 5 years leading strategic growth and product initiatives focused on physical devices, IoT/connectivity, hardware and/or electromechanical components
  • Proven track record of successfully driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans and drive results.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
