The Business Development Representative will be focused on growing the Krayden composite business for the Southwest territory. BDRs are responsible for developing and fostering relationships, closing new business, and providing expert technical support to our customers. The Business Development Representative will also be the lead composite SME for a geographical aligned team of Technical Sales Representatives.


*This position is local to the Greater Texas, Colorado, Kansas and Oklahoma City area. Relocation assistance is not available at this time.


Job Responsibilities:

Identify and map business strengths and customer needs.

  • Develop growth strategy and plan for their assigned industries and territories.
  • Manage and retain relationships with key accounts.
  • Work with Technical Sales Representatives to implement the growth strategies and plans.
  • Train Technical Sales Representatives on the key factors of composite industry and product lines.
  • Increase customer base for the branded products assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in composites required.
  • Advanced technical knowledge in composite technology, manufacturing, or engineering.
  • Proven experience in team leadership and mentoring.
  • Experience in the Aerospace or Defense industry is a plus.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to business development.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel 50-60% of the time.
