Abou the role

Zero Longevity Science is looking for a contract Social Media Strategist for 5–10 hours a week to manage and elevate the company’s social media presence. The mission is to extend the lifespan and healthspan of the human race. The company is helping millions commit to life-saving, longevity-boosting healthy habits. More than 20 million people have started their fasting journey with Zero, and every week, hundreds of thousands actively engage with both the app and social media content.


In this role, the selected candidate will:


  • Develop and execute a weekly content schedule, posting 2–4 engaging pieces on Instagram, Twitter (X), TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Ideate, create, and remix content—from short-form videos to infographics—that resonates with current trends and aligns with the brand voice.
  • Collaborate directly with the Chief Medical Officer to craft and refine science-backed social media content.
  • Monitor social channels to respond to comments and messages, ensuring a positive and interactive community.
  • Participate in a weekly strategy meeting to review performance, brainstorm campaign ideas, and iterate based on insights.
  • Track key engagement metrics to continuously refine the social media strategy.


The ideal candidate has at least 3+ years of experience managing social media for consumer brands or apps, and is creative, proactive, and comfortable working remotely at 5–10 hours per week.


This contract position is compensated at $25–$40 per hour based on experience.


Strong communication skills, a passion for health and wellness, and proficiency with content tools (particularly Canva & Adobe Premiere) and social media platforms are essential to success in this role. Candidates should be prepared to showcase samples of content, social media campaigns, or previous work as part of the application.
