Job Summary

The Advanced Security Sales Architect partners with sales teams to deliver cutting-edge managed security solutions, including MDR, XDR, EDR, SIEM, and more. This role plays a critical part in protecting businesses by aligning Comcast Business services with customer needs, ensuring robust cybersecurity outcomes.

Job Description

  • Collaborate with security sales specialists during the pre-sales process to help qualify opportunities for both existing Comcast Business customers and new prospects to assist with a high level technical evaluation and analysis of their current cybersecurity posture to determine if our managed security products are available that would improve their security posture.
  • Deliver in-depth product demonstrations showcasing our advanced cybersecurity portfolio of offerings.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies offered by CB which includes MDR, EDR, SIEM, UTM, CASB, ZTNA, Threat hunting & Vulnerability scanning.
  • Understands and articulates the value proposition of our advanced managed security solutions to prospects, peers, partners, customers and the public.
  • This role specializes in selling managed security-based solutions / services, carrying an overlay quota.
  • Works independently with minimal-to-no supervision while also demonstrating the ability to lead projects and initiatives autonomously

Core Responsibilities  

  • 4+ years experience in quota bearing cyber security solution selling
  • Security Certification is a plus (Security+, CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, CEH)
  • Knowledge of public clouds (O365, AWS, Azure, GCP) and cybersecurity technologies is preferred
  • Knowledge and/or expertise in IT, MDR, IDS/IPS, UTM, SIEM, EDR, CASB, ZTNA, Vulnerability Management, Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, Security Automation.
  • Partner with sales team in technical qualification and security architecture design
  • The ability to relate to and engage members of both the technical and non-technical community
  • Must be able to present effectively in front of large groups, both technically and non-technically oriented.
  • The ability to be self-driven, enthusiastic and determined to succeed
  • A real passion for learning new skills and technologies
  • Demonstrable experience in objection handling and positioning against competitive technologies
  • Ability to engage with a variety of technical and business leaders.
