Location: Remote United States or Canada

Shape What’s Next in Data Migration
Vitech is hiring a Director of Data Conversion to lead enterprise-scale data migration efforts for our cloud-native V3locity platform. In this critical role, you’ll guide a high-performing team and collaborate directly with clients to deliver clean, secure, and accurate data conversions that support complex insurance, retirement, and benefits systems.

What you will do:

• Own end-to-end delivery of data conversion across multiple client implementations
• Lead, coach, and grow a team of data conversion specialists and SQL developers
• Collaborate with clients to define data migration scope, assess quality, and prioritize cleansing efforts
• Work closely with internal project managers, product owners, and technical leads to align timelines and integration milestones
• Ensure secure, error-free execution of data conversion through test phases and final go-live
• Monitor progress, flag risks early, and drive issue resolution with both internal teams and client stakeholders
• Champion best practices for data integrity, use of test data, and agile-based development
• Uphold all client and organizational standards for handling sensitive data (PII/PHI) and ensuring compliance
  
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS, data engineering, or cloud-based software delivery
• 3+ years leading data migration or large-scale system integration teams
• Expert-level SQL skills with experience optimizing performance in high-volume data environments
• Hands-on experience with Oracle PL/SQL, Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL, and modern data conversion tools leveraging GenAI and Python.
• Proven track record managing client-facing technical teams across multiple, concurrent implementations
• Strong understanding of modern data architecture, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), and ETL frameworks
• Ability to align technical execution with client outcomes and delivery timelines
• Experience fostering technical excellence, team growth, and agile best practices in fast-paced settings

Nice to Have

• Experience with insurance, retirement, or public sector benefits systems
• Familiarity with COBRA, eligibility, enrollment, claims, or pension data domains
