The Imaging Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing medical imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines. They will work closely with medical staff to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and meets all safety standards. The Imaging Service Engineer will also be responsible for training medical staff on how to properly use the equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
Responsibilities
Maintain and repair medical imaging equipment such as MRI, CT, X-Ray and Ultrasound machines
Install new equipment and ensure it meets all safety standards
Train medical staff on how to properly use equipment
Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with equipment
Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
Stay up-to-date with new technology and advancements in medical imaging equipment
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
Experience working with medical imaging equipment for a minimum of 7 years
Strong problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel as needed
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must pass background and drug screen.
