Sr Fullstack Developer (Next.js + Java -desired-)

Description

As a Senior Fullstack Developer, you'll spearhead the creation of a responsive "clock in/clock out" website utilizing an EnterID system for employees, while also contributing to our core applications built with React, Next.js, and Java knowledge is a plus. A key aspect of this role involves exploring and implementing AI coding techniques to enhance development efficiency and code quality. This position offers the opportunity to lead impactful projects from inception and drive innovation within our technology stack.

Requirements

• More than 6 years of demonstrable experience as a Fullstack Developer.
• Solid and demonstrable experience in developing complex frontend applications using React and its ecosystem.
• Significant experience in developing server-side applications with Java and frameworks like Spring Boot.
• Hands-on experience in developing applications using the Next.js framework (Server-Side Rendering, Static Site Generation, API Routes).
• Knowledge and experience in applying AI Coding techniques (using intelligent auto-completion tools, advanced static analysis with AI, AI-assisted code generation).
• Strong knowledge of RESTful and/or GraphQL API design.
• Experience working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB).
• Understanding of software design principles and architectural patterns.
• Experience with version control systems (Git).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead and actively participate in the design, development, and implementation of complex and scalable web applications using React, Next.js, and Java.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners, designers, and other engineers to define and execute the product vision.
• Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code, following best development practices.
• Design and implement robust and efficient APIs for communication between the frontend and backend.
• Integrate and manage relational and non-relational databases.
• Implement and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate AI Coding tools and techniques to optimize the development process, improve code quality, and automate repetitive tasks.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in web development, Java, React, Next.js, and artificial intelligence applied to code.
• Mentor and guide junior and mid-level developers, fostering a learning and growth environment.
• Participate in defining the technical architecture of projects.
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
