Job description

We're seeking a Consolidation Manager to oversee the monthly consolidation of financial statements and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management and stakeholders. This role involves managing statutory income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements while collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial operations, audit readiness, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in group consolidations, financial reporting, and IFRS, with experience in ERP systems such as D365.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, in accordance with group policies and procedures, the reporting and controlling operations of finance teams in locations within the Group and serve as a key finance partner to business management stakeholders to ensure efficiency and excellence in all financial matters
  • Support the local teams to ensure all reporting is compliant with statutory law and relevant regulations
  • Perform global controls and monitor the execution of the local controls framework
  • Manage month end close procedures to meet Group reporting deadlines
  • Create monthly and annual reports and analyses to highlight results, explain trends, and provide insights
  • Review Balance Sheet reconciliations monthly and taking the necessary action to clear long outstanding items
  • If required, validate and authorize expenses and payments including payroll
  • Oversee the management of cash flow and budget controls
  • Manage the statutory and group management audit process and liaise with external providers/consultants as required
  • Contribute to documenting and improving finance business processes and policies to strengthen the control framework and the quality of finance functions
  • Streamline and improve accounting systems and operations
  • Contribute to the company's financial strategy and decision-making processes
  • Assist the CFO in presenting reports to senior executives and management as well as in all project and activities as needed
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of budget and financial forecasts and relevant variance reports


Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or another relevant field
  • At least 2 years of global financial controller experience
  • Proven experience in a global technology BPO industry is an advantage
  • Deep knowledge of financial practices and regulations including IFRS standards, and internal controls
  • Experience in managing finance projects within an international business environment
  • Firm grasp of MS Excel
  • Experience in global finance shared-service models
  • Audit experience with Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PricewaterhouseCoopers is an advantage
  • Ability to multi-task and be hands-on in a fast-paced global environment to meet deadlines under pressure
  • Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and verbal
  • Manage and oversee tax compliance including annual transfer pricing submissions
  • Oversee the preparation and review of Group reporting requirements for reporting and consolidation purposes
