Job description

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic team within a thriving organisation. As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and expanding their market presence.

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales quotas for safety equipment solutions in Queensland.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers in various industries (chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, utilities).
  • Identify customer needs and present solutions to meet safety and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Manage a network of distributors and channel partners to promote and sell products effectively.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations and technical seminars to educate customers.
  • Negotiate and close subscription contracts, adhering to company pricing and sales policies.
  • Regularly travel to meet customers and attend industry events.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, application engineering, customer service) for seamless customer experience.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial safety.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with customers and partners.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively.
