Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the CEO, the VP Sales will work closely with Marketing, Product, Brand, and the Executive Team to drive revenue growth across all channels including Retail, Enterprise Fleet, and International. This role will define sales strategy to support the company’s growth objectives and craft the operating plan to achieve it. The VP Sales is responsible for hiring, leading, coaching, developing, and managing teams to execute strategy and for analyzing and reporting on the results.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead overall sales strategy with accountability for Retail, Enterprise Fleet, Sales Operations, and International channels of business.
  • Develop and track sales forecasts, goals and corresponding initiatives based upon overall strategy, market conditions and operational capabilities.
  • Lead effective GTM strategy for each sales channel.
  • Use data and analytics to drive decisions to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Manage domestic & international distributor relationships.
  • Partner with leaders in Product, Marketing, Brand, and Finance to ensure GTM strategies are aligned and create results that meet or exceed revenue goals.
  • Evolve process and customers to increase revenue in enterprise sales channel.
  • Execute OKRs to achieve your sales objectives and GTM strategy.
  • Manage annual sales budget, including incentives.
  • Lead the sales team with empathy, competitive drive, and high standards.
  • Create and execute training and coaching programs, including management and sales rep training, peer and manager-led coaching, and performance management processes.
  • Research sales trends across the industry and competitive landscape, translating, and prioritizing into relevant actions for the company.
  • Maintain awareness of general economic conditions, industry and competitive dynamics and determine the potential impact on revenue and profitability for the company.
  • Establish performance metrics to objectively assess results and pivot as needed.
  • Create accurate revenue forecasts by channel and product line.


REQUIREMENTS

  • 10+ years sales experience
  • 5+ years of Director/ VP-level experience at high growth brand
  • Strategic thinking
  • Passionate and capable of driving business decisions through Data and Analytics
  • Sales planning, modeling, and budgeting
  • Revenue forecasting
  • Retail sales at the national, regional, and local level
  • Enterprise/corporate sales, sales management, & sales operations
  • Executive Leadership and employee development
  • Enterprise & Wholesale distribution experience desired
  • International Sales experience helpful
  • Domestic Travel Required 25-50%
  • Reside in close proximity to metropolitan airport with direct flights


LOCATION:

This is a remote position. Travel to Ketchum, Idaho required 12x/year for Executive Team Meetings


COMPENSATION:

$200,000- 250,000 commensurate with experience & demonstrated results
