Compliance and Risk Team Manager - Impartiality & Risk

Location: UK/EMEA - homebased with some travel required

About the role

Our Compliance and Risk (C&R) team within Regulatory Services is looking for a Compliance and Risk Team Manager to ensure BSI acts impartially and with due regard to any conflicts of interests in order to maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders to champion impartiality and risk management
  • Lead the development and implementation of work programmes to increase capacity, capability and efficient work processes to facilitate safeguards for impartiality and risk management arrangements
  • Work across all Compliance and Risk business areas including medical devices, artificial intelligence and product certification
  • Champion the importance of regulatory compliance, impartiality and effective risk management across all areas of the business, upholding all relevant standards

To be successful in the role, you will have:

  • Degree level education in a relevant subject area or equivalent experience
  • Extensive work experience in a relevant sector e.g. regulation, product development, healthcare/clinical
  • A high level of knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and awareness of AI, medical devices and IVD regulations
  • Extensive awareness of risk management processes and standards
  • Management and communication skills, proactiveness
