Compliance and Risk Team Manager - Impartiality & Risk

Location: UK/EMEA - homebased with some travel required

About the role

Our Compliance and Risk (C&R) team within Regulatory Services is looking for a Compliance and Risk Team Manager to ensure BSI acts impartially and with due regard to any conflicts of interests in order to maintain compliance with regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

Work with stakeholders to champion impartiality and risk management
Lead the development and implementation of work programmes to increase capacity, capability and efficient work processes to facilitate safeguards for impartiality and risk management arrangements
Work across all Compliance and Risk business areas including medical devices, artificial intelligence and product certification
Champion the importance of regulatory compliance, impartiality and effective risk management across all areas of the business, upholding all relevant standards

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Degree level education in a relevant subject area or equivalent experience
Extensive work experience in a relevant sector e.g. regulation, product development, healthcare/clinical
A high level of knowledge of relevant regulatory standards and awareness of AI, medical devices and IVD regulations
Extensive awareness of risk management processes and standards
Management and communication skills, proactiveness
