Job description

This role can be based anywhere in Canada or the USA. Our HQ is in Australia but we have teams across the world, including the US, Canada and South America already.


Our Product - ExoSphere - leverages space technology, 3D multiphysics and AI to map mineral systems in real-time with near-zero environmental impact. This enables explorers to make faster, data-driven decisions onsite with access to real-time 3D imaging AI-powered insights to increase drilling success rates and reduce time to discovery and environmental footprint.


We are a Series D scale up of around 150 people across the globe, with strong revenue and a big product roadmap ahead of us.


We're currently looking for Senior Account Executives to sell our products to the leading mining companies in APAC and are particular interested in experience Sales people with backgrounds in Geology and/or mineral exploration. Our product is already very successful with many Tier 1 and 2 companies but due to additional developments to our products capabilities (especially on the AI side), we're looking to further our market share.



About the role


Our Senior Account Executives are end to end deal cycle management from reach outs, tender responses, presentations, industry events to closing deals. You will work as a team and very closely with our Marketing department and technical experts to understand our target markets, our product offering and the customer problems that we are solving.


You will:


  • Conduct in-depth research to map out and prioritise new opportunities for ANT, Seismic and Broader exploration efforts.


  • Lead the entire sales cycle from initial contact to deal closure including discovery calls, facilitating workshops, presentations and negotiations.


  • Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor


  • Develop executive-level relationships within strategic, named accounts, positioning Fleet Space as a key partner in their operational strategy.


  • Source opportunities for thought leadership and represent Fleet Space+ at tradeshows and customer summits, articulating the unique benefits of our satellite and AI solutions to potential customers.



What we are looking for:


The key requirements we're looking for are Senior Sales people with specific experience in the mining industry, ideally in the mineral exploration phases. Deal size experience should be well into the 6 to 7 figures mark and you should have a great industry knowledge and network in the mining industry.


This means:



  • Experience selling exploration technologies and software (e.g., GIS, remote sensing, drilling technologies).


  • Ability to discuss technical specifications and benefits of products/services with clients.


  • Ability to measure and report on sales performance and adjust tactics as needed


  • Confident verbal communication with the ability to present information to potential customers through sales presentations, workshops and public speaking at industry and networking events


  • Awareness of the competitive landscape and ability to position offerings uniquely in the market.


  • Capability to develop and implement strategic sales plans tailored to the exploration sector
