The Work You’ll Do
This position is responsible for building market demand for Sovos’ solutions and services by arranging for sales meetings with potential business prospects. Through networking, sales prospecting, and following-up on marketing campaigns, the representative will learn about businesses and educate organizations on Sovos’ solutions.
More Specifically You Will
Exercise discretion and independent judgment to advance Sovos’ marketing and sales strategies
Work directly with Sovos’ customers to assist with implementation of Sovos’ products and services
Ensure team achievement of telemarketing and revenue quotas
Independently and effectively introduce and market Sovos’ solutions to customers and prospects
Achieve pipeline creation and revenue quotas
Team with Sales Executives to identify and execute territory plans - Execute a formalized telemarketing and selling process
Develop and deliver regular forecasts of revenue goals and telemarketing objectives
Creatively identify and implement improvements to telemarketing strategies, processes, documents, tools, etc. to benefit Market Development/other internal teams and external prospects
Act with integrity and demonstrate ethical behavior in all matters with all stakeholders
Take full responsibility for ensuring internal and external customer satisfaction
Demonstrate initiative, drive and determination to achieve results, success and growth
Maintain a high level of energy, enthusiasm, engagement and commitment to action

What We Need From You
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 12 months as a successful Business Development Representative or equivalent success in a BDR role with Business Development Manager recommendation
Proven history of achieving and exceeding monthly BDR quotas for Dials, Appointments, and Opportunities
Evidence of leadership on the BDR team above and beyond the normal job expectations. Examples include, but are not limited to:
Mentoring new BDR’s during their training period
Representing the BDR team on Marketing department or cross-department projects
2 years Software industry experience, software-as-a-service industry experience a plus
Proficiency with contact management solutions (e.g., Salesforce.com) and Microsoft Office suite of tools
Ability to autonomously manage multiple sales opportunities concurrently and actively manage pipeline development of those opportunities
Quota experience preferred; demonstrated ability to exceed quotas
Ability to communicate in Japanese or Chinese is considered a plus.
General understanding of business, financial systems, and organizational decision-making
Ability to work with mid/executive level contacts at clients
Creative problem solving
Can adapt quickly in conversation
Must be assertive and persistent
Ability to pass a background, drug and credit check
