We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Windows System Administrator to manage and support our Windows server environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, GPOs, and a solid understanding of network protocols and connectivity in a Windows-based infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Active Directory, ensuring user accounts, permissions, and group policies are appropriately configured.
Configure, manage, and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs in a production environment.
Diagnose and resolve authentication, login, and general performance issues related to Windows servers and endpoints.
Identify and troubleshoot network connectivity issues within a Windows environment.
Provide first-level support for incidents related to Windows server infrastructure.
Assist in implementing and maintaining security policies and system configurations.
Document processes and troubleshooting steps clearly and consistently.
Collaborate with IT teams and other departments for effective system support and maintenance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as a Windows Administrator or similar role.
Proficiency in Active Directory management and support.
Strong knowledge and troubleshooting skills with DNS, DHCP, DFS, and GPOs.
Solid understanding of Windows authentication mechanisms and performance monitoring.
Basic understanding of TCP/IP networking, including VLANs, IP subnets, and general Windows network configuration.
Good problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSA, MCSE) are a plus.
Experience with scripting or automation (e.g., PowerShell).
Familiarity with virtualization environments (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
