Pay range and compensation package

Grade 14, Full time, exempt position, $99,647.23 - $139,506.11 per fiscal year, commensurate with experience. Benefits package available. PERA position.


Preferred Candidate

Preferred candidate should reside and work in the following states: FL, GA, NC, or SC as most of the work will be conducted within these regions.


Travel

  • Frequent travel with the states mentioned up to 10 times per year.
  • Travel to Minnesota for organizational meetings or events, up to 4 time per year.


About the Role

The person in this position assists in providing leadership, management, financial accountability, compliance, planning, and oversight to the assigned Government Accounts team. This position is directly responsible for establishing and achieving Revenue and Margin goals for Cooperative Purchasing and other solutions. Preferred candidate would work and reside in the following states: FL, GA, NC, or SC as most of the work will be conducted within these regions, in addition to others.


Responsibilities

  • Assist the Director in managing the Government Accounts team to achieve P& L goals
  • Manage the activities of assigned members on the team, such as assisting in cultivating leads through intentional outreach strategies; coordinating with internal teams; leading training programs; managing and developing strong relationships with participating agencies.
  • Managing, hiring and training team members.
  • Represent Sourcewell and Government accounts team at conferences, tradeshows, supplier meetings, client meetings or other public events.


Qualifications

  • Five (5) years of sales and/or sales management experience
  • Five (5) years of public speaking or sales presentation experience
  • Demonstrated experience leading people, projects, or teams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study AND Five (5) years of demonstrated experience in sales management, P&L management, business development, account management, client relations/development, or other directly related experience OR
  • Combination of post-secondary training, professional education, and related experience equivalent to nine (9) years.
