Senior Copywriter
Trade School is seeking a full-time Senior Copywriter to join our Digital Creative Studio—a fast-paced, specialized team within the agency’s creative department, dedicated to producing content at scale. You’re a conceptual thinker, wordsmith, and storyteller who can translate strategy into sharp, engaging copy tailored for digital platforms. As a Senior Copywriter, you’ll partner closely with art directors, designers, and strategists to craft compelling creative that connects with people and drives results. You understand how to write for different tones and brand voices across social, digital, and emerging platforms. You have a strong grasp of what makes content perform and can adapt your writing to suit a wide range of audiences, industries, and platforms. You’ll own projects from start to finish, with an eye on both creative craft and strategic alignment. You're comfortable juggling multiple assignments, contributing to big campaign ideas, and rolling up your sleeves to get the words right—every single time. In-depth knowledge of the structure of a brand’s identity—specifically the brand voice—and how to adapt it across platforms, audiences, messages, and purposes
Collaborates closely with clients and internal teams to maintain consistent messaging and high-quality copy across all business groups.
Experience with dynamic content engines, adtech platforms, interactive design, and collaboration tools like Figma
Awareness of generative AI and content automation tools, with an ability to evaluate and edit AI-assisted outputs.

Responsibilities
Write, revise, and develop creative copy for digital-first campaigns, including social, display, video, email, and web content
Experience writing short- and long-form scripts for digital video, motion graphics, and animation.
Partner with visual and motion designers to concept and execute platform-native content that aligns with brand voice and strategic objectives
Translate creative briefs and content matrices into compelling copy that’s tailored to the nuances of each platform (e.g., Meta, Pinterest, OLA)
Ensure copy is clear, concise, on-brand, and strategically sound across all touchpoints
Contribute to brainstorms, campaign development, and pitch work with fresh, platform-aware ideas
Adapt tone, message, and structure across varying brand voices, content types, and audience segments
Apply brand guidelines with nuance and care, maintaining consistency across formats and executions
Collaborate with internal and client teams to iterate based on feedback while maintaining creative integrity
Manage multiple assignments and deadlines with a high level of organization and independence
Stay up to date on trends, tools, and shifts in the content and digital marketing landscape
Qualifications
Portfolio or creative samples demonstrating expertise in interactive digital content at scale
5-7 years of writing experience in client-side, in-house, agency, or similar creative environments
Deep understanding of writing for social media, display advertising, video, and digital campaigns
Strong conceptual chops—you know how to think big and write small
Ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and manage multiple assignments with shifting priorities
Experience writing for multiple brands with distinct tones and objectives
Excellent communication and presentation skills—you can articulate your thinking clearly and confidently
Meticulous attention to detail, grammar, and brand voice consistency.
Strong team collaboration skills
Knowledge of creative platforms like Adobe Suite, Figma, and ad platforms is a plus
Comfortable with and receptive to feedback; able to quickly address feedback effectively
