Job Description
Quality Assurance Engineer II's are responsible for the development, execution, and maintenance of software quality processes that support and ensure that released software is stable for our customers.
- Authors test suites, including training guides, white papers, standard operating procedures, and other technical documentation to capture knowledge base.
- Executes test suites and delivers highest quality software on time.
- Follows standard operating procedures guidelines, tests, tracks (gather evidence) and closes bugs assigned.
- Mentors QA engineers to ensure high quality software is delivered to meet company commitment dates.
- Works closely with various departments within the company for the purpose of support, training, and knowledge transfer of expertise.
- Reviews and provides feedback on technical documentation.
- Researches and introduces new technology and best practices.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The minimum amount of relevant work experience required to successfully perform the job is at least six (6) years. Experience with the Windows development environment including .NET
- Experience with testing automation software and processes (examples include but are not limited to Specflow, ALM Quality Center; Visual Studio, etc.). Education or job knowledge equivalent to college or university undergraduate education. Relevant certifications may be required.
Candidates should have experience with Selenium and C#. SQL skills are also a necessary requirement for this position. Skills with Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Scrum, CICD, QuerySurge, Test Case Management, and the Snowflake platform are not required but would be beneficial.
