About The Role

With a comprehensive understanding of the systems involved, strong capability in EV troubleshooting, and a keen interest in developing knowledge & skills within the team, you will work with the freedom to resolve the challenges our customers face.

Your main tasks will involve servicing and maintaining EV chargers and fuel delivery systems at various customer sites and being the primary contact for escalations.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Serve as the primary contact for technical escalations, diagnosing and repairing issues with EV charging stations, fuel pumps, and other related equipment. Conduct planned and unplanned service & maintenance tasks, overseeing inspections to ensure efficient operation in our ERP system.

Collaboration & Team Support:

  • Work closely with hybrid technicians on EV and fueling jobs. Identify their training needs, maintain a training register for EV-Hybrid engineers, assess and support their growth through coaching and mentorship.

Job & Inventory Management:

  • Plan, report, and document tasks and activities while managing spare parts ordering & inventory to ensure efficient task execution.

Communication & Reporting:

  • Maintain clear communication with team members and customers about job statuses and technical issues while reporting job completions and keeping stakeholders informed. Identify potential sales leads and forward them to the appropriate colleagues.

Travel & On-Site Work:

  • Managing your schedule to maintain a work-life balance, you’ll visit various job sites, which may involve unplanned, out-of-normal hours service or scheduled overnight stays. (Mainly Middle/Southern region of Sweden, occasionally to other regions)

Health & Safety Compliance:

  • Conduct regular safety discussions with the team to foster a culture of safety.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards during repairs and services while conducting regular safety discussions to promote a culture of safety.

We are looking for:

  • Technical degree (electronics or electrical engineering) in electrical work
  • OR have substantive hands-on experience working within the electrical industry.
  • Electrician qualification A
  • Valid driving license, and flexibility to travel to customer sites, with some overnight stays and out-of-hours attendance.
  • Proven experience managing EV charging infrastructure projects or similar electrical installation projects.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a curiosity and growth mindset to ensure all work orders are triaged appropriately.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to troubleshoot and provide creative solutions.
  • Ability to guide and develop technicians' skills and knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills in the local language and good English proficiency (verbal and written).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications and other IT systems
