Job Title: Senior Field Engineer (Remote)

Location: East Midlands

About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Engineer to join our team, working remotely in the West Midlands. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in achieving departmental objectives and continuously improving performance. You will support best-in-class engineering infrastructure and technical services to our customers and end clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide First Line Maintenance support and respond to maintenance calls within SLA.
• Lead new build deployment activities and fault finding with TAC assistance.
• Carry out installation and commissioning duties in both project and maintenance environments.
• Provide on-call cover as required and update the Indigo NOC on intervention progress.
• Lead and mentor engineers, ensuring adherence to Safety, Health, Environmental, and Quality (SHEQ) standards.
• Perform installation of metalwork, fibre, and cable pulling, and copper cable termination.
• Conduct field installation supervision and quality audits.
• Produce high-quality project documentation and assist with basic project management tasks.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience in building Telecoms Infrastructure services.
• Proficient in network commissioning, test equipment, and power.
• Experienced with Nokia, Juniper, Huawei, Tellabs, Infinera, and Ciena equipment.
• Strong customer interface skills and excellent report writing abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage own workload.
• PC literate, especially with Microsoft Office 365 suite.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
