Regional Technical Manager (West)

EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring a Regional Technical Manager for our Government Sales Business Unit, to support our customers within ID, OR, WA, AK, HI. The Regional Technical Mgr. will collaborate with existing clients to assure maximum deployment and usage within the different departments, to assist the District Manager for maximum renewal potential. They will assist the Customer Support Group with customer installations and training. They will assist with presentations to state and county clients and work in concert with the District Sales Manager or Regional Vice President.

Responsibilities:

• Technical sales assistance with presentations to state and county clients and working in concert with the District Sales Manager or Regional Vice President.
• Respond to technical questions/issues raised by clients and coordinate response with home office staff.
• Assist the Customer Support Group with customer installations and training, as requested.
• Attend regional trade shows.
• Collaborate with existing clients to assure maximum deployment and usage within the different departments, to assist District Manager for maximum renewal potential.
• Support county and regional user groups as they are formed.
• Provide logistical support during image capture, as needed.
• Ancillary sales to existing customers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Science, Environmental Planning/Management/Science, Geospatial Science and Technology or related field.
• Live near a commercial airport in ID, OR, WA.

Preferred:

• 2+ years’ experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or Geospatial.
• Experience working with local, county, and state government is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

The compensation offered to the successful candidate will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate’s work experience, education and licenses, work-related training, key skills, the core duties of the role and its associated responsibilities, additional benefits offered, and the location where the work will be performed. All Fulltime (30+ hours) employees are eligible for PTO, Sick, and Parental Leave; Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; 401(k) Plan; Health Savings Account; Life Insurance; Employee Assistance Program; Pet Insurance. This is a full-time, remote role with a salary range of $55,000-$75,000, with a target commission of $25,000-$35,000.
