As a Business Development Manager you will be working with the broader sales team across EMEA to align messaging and strategy, this role will form a critical part of the growth plans for UHCG. With responsibility for large corporate new business across Europe, broker management and development strategy, client success and NPS, the role holder will work across sales, underwriting, product, and marketing to deliver to the needs of the European market clients. In addition this individual will act as the market lead on all new business (SME and large corporate) for the Netherlands, Germany and Austria. Primary Responsibilities Of The Business Development Manager
Large corporate new business generation across Europe (excl. UK) and SME & large corporate for the Netherlands, Germany and Austria (dedicated markets)
Support client retention on large cases & SME cases for dedicated markets
Tier 1 broker relationships lead in dedicated markets with detailed broker strategy plan ownership
Subject matter expert on MNCs buying behaviors, and on cross-border healthcare
Contribute as industry voice/ voice of market in product and proposition development
Leads on large tender submissions and RFPs and supports other members of sales team
Acting as the “voice of the client” on corporate bids
working closely with the bids and sales enablement team to craft relevant and compelling materials and bid documents
working closely with SME sales lead for the wider European markets and the large corporate sales lead for the UK market
supporting the wider sales team to achieve targets through peer support
responsibility for the up-to-date collation of Salesforce data and supporting MI
influencing the Go-To-Market value-proposition with client and broker feedback

Required Qualifications Of The Business Development Manager
A relevant educational degree or diploma
Strong sales and account management background
Strong and broad experience in a Business Development or Client Management role in a solution selling, business-to-business environment
IPMI market experience essential
A high level of understanding of expatriate and global mobility market
Prior relationship management experience gained within a B2B marketplace
Previous sales or client management team management experience, preferably at a Senior or Board level
Prior experience in Marketing or Propositions an advantage
Able to demonstrate a proven track record of profitable growth
Fluency in English and Dutch. A third foreign language regarded favourably
Cultural awareness and international travel/expat placement experience
Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
Excellent presentation skills
