Job Role: Studio Content Designer

Full Time: Independent Contractor

Salary Budget: $ 1500 - $ 1800 AUD

Who The Client Is:  is a biotech startup dedicated to enhancing quality of life through personalized health solutions. With backgrounds in biochemistry and molecular biology, the founders recognized the power of nutrition in improving health outcomes and the importance of tailoring health strategies to individual needs.

Role Overview: We are seeking a talented Studio Content Designer with strong Adobe InDesign skills to take ownership of our report production process. You’ll be responsible for transforming scientific findings into beautifully formatted, customer-facing reports that are clear, consistent, and visually engaging. This role plays a key part in streamlining our current manual workflow and enhancing the overall customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Format personalized health reports using Adobe InDesign based on data and content provided by in-house scientists.
  • Work with existing design templates to create polished, professional, and on-brand documents.
  • Improve and refine InDesign templates to make the report generation process more efficient and scalable.
  • Ensure consistency in layout, typography, and branding across all reports.
  • Collaborate with the team to identify and implement workflow improvements.
    During quieter periods, assist with light graphic design tasks, such as creating social media assets, marketing materials, or digital content.

Requirements

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe InDesign with a proven track record of creating high-quality documents.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a strong eye for layout and formatting.
  • Ability to follow brand guidelines and formatting standards precisely.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking initiative to optimize existing processes.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator) is a plus.
  • Developing social media content/assets in conjunction with the social media manager
  • Populating/formatting blog content, including sourcing/ formatting/creating and uploading visual assets to support blog content.
  • Designing landing destination pages to support social media activity
  • Prior experience in health, wellness, or scientific content is a bonus, but not required.
