About the Position:

The ‘Digital Learning Designer & Training Facilitator - Global’ is responsible for the entire e-learning design’, ‘training facilitation’, ‘and ‘training assessment’ function within the business to ensure everyone globally within the Company is successfully trained and assessed for their respective positions. The position is responsible to ensure the e- learning design is creating effective, engaging, and accessible digital learning experiences globally.

The position is exclusively responsible for ‘e-learning training design’ that is engaging and interactive and is aligned and updated according to the operational requirements of the business and relevant job position requirement.

The position also plays an active role assisting the Head of HR with the designing, compiling and managing of employee ‘professional development plans. This is a full time, ‘fully remote’ position, operating from preferably Cape Town, South Africa.   



Main Duties & Responsibilities

·         Design, develop and maintain e-learning training module(s) and program(s) for all the applicable job positions;

·         Facilitate, coordinate, and manage all e-learning training module(s) and e-learning program(s);

·         Design, facilitate and score e-learning assessments.

·         Facilitate, manage, and oversee the Onboarding Training program;

·         Formulate ‘Training and development’ interventions/plans;

·         Overall maintenance of the Learning Management System (LMS);


Qualifications & Work Experience

·         Bachelor’s degree in ‘Education or Psychology’ or any other similar academic qualification related to ‘e-Learning Design.’

·         High command of English at a C1 or C2 level;

·         Having worked in a culturally diverse work environment

·         3 to 5 years hands-on work experience in e-Learning Design responsible for the entire e-learning design cycle’ - Learning objectives, Instructional design, Content Development, User Experience design, Interactivity, Assessment & Feedback and Evaluations & Analytics.

·         3 to 5 years hand-on work experience facilitating e-learning training, teaching experience

·         2 to 3 years Curriculum Design work experience ,

·         Work experience with a Learning Management System software and e-learning Design software (such as TalentLMS, Moodle, Articulate Rise 360);

Technical Skills

·         Learning Design Software (Articulate, iSpring, Adobe Captivate, Elucidat etc)

·         Learning Management System Software (Moodle, TalentLMS etc)

·     G Suite (Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Chat, Docs, Sheets and Slides)


Working Days and Hours

·         Monday to Friday

·         9am to 6pm (South African time – flexible)
