Job description

Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for an Executive Chef to join our growing foodservice function, focusing on our Contract Catering customers.


What You'll Be Responsible For


Working as part of a UK team of 4 in supporting the delivering of the Quorn Foodservice culinary strategy, you will be responsible for executing an enhanced engagement plan to National Contract Catering and Education (i.e. Universities) sector customers.


Developing and maintaining key culinary relationships along with a robust contact strategy with the relevant customer food teams, you will help develop and deliver industry relevant ideation and concepts using Quorn, Cauldron and QuornPro partner products with features, advantages, correct usage, sustainability and nutritional benefits at front of mind.


This role will be a remotely based field role with regular travel to customers, trade shows, Quorn sites and team meetings required.


What Experience You'll Need To Have


  • Demonstrable background in a senior culinary role, preferably in a development chef capacity with a background in menu development and innovation
  • Industry qualified in food and all necessary food regulation compliance, including allergen legislation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programmes such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
  • Presentable track record of delivering innovative solutions that drive sales and enhance margins
  • A passion for healthy, sustainable products which are better for our consumers and the planet – you don’t have to be a vegetarian to work for Quorn!


The Recruitment Process

1st Stage - 30/45 mins Microsoft Teams introductory call with our Culinary Lead & Resourcing Partner


2nd Stage - in-person interview at our offices in Leeds with key stakeholders from our UK Foodservice team
