About the role:
As a Program/Project Manager – New Plant Delivery you will lead and manage early works and FEED (Front End Engineering Development) study contracts for potential new plant customers. You will support the Commercial Operations group in the development of responses to questions from and proposals to potential new plant customer contracts and is responsible for the successful execution of resulting early works projects.
This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the United States.
You will report to the Deputy Project Director - Bulgaria.
No relocation or sponsorship is available.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Commercial Operations group by preparing responses to requests for information from potential new plant customers regarding Westinghouse’s capabilities and recommended approaches for building new power plants
Lead development activities, as assigned, including delivery of needed documentation and coordinating with resource groups to accomplish work
Review scopes of work and provide markup and feedback to the Commercial Operations team and potential customers.
Develop cost estimates for the project management activities and execution of early works and FEED contracts for potential new plant customers
Project Manage early works and FEED study contracts starting at turnover from the Commercial Operations team to Project Close-out
Organize project team, oversee project schedule development/follow, monitoring and reporting on the status of projects, ensuring adherence to internal and external standards, identify/resolve obstacles to completing projects on time and to budget.
May include work managing multiple, projects or working with construction consortium partners
Coordinate with the Westinghouse functional organizations to develop and complete the contract deliverables
Work directly with the Customer in the execution of the contracts
Manage project costs to deliver value to the customer and satisfy Westinghouse goals
Qualifications:
BS degree in engineering, construction management or project management. Experience in the nuclear power industry helpful
Years of Experience: 7 to 15 years of experience in engineering or project management
Nuclear EPC project experience is desired but not required
N/A PMP helpful
High-level experience in project management
Experience implementing projects across a broad range of contract types, including fixed price and cost reimbursable/time and materials
Establish networks across teams including finance, strategy, engineering, licensing, procurement, and project management
